Gmail is something we all use every day and as far as I can remember it has remained the same for quite some time now but hey things are changing Google recently revamped the Gmail UI and engaged a number of new exciting features like Smart Compose and Gmail offline feature, well the new Gmail and all of its features are finally here.

The new Gmail UI and it looks a lot better than the older one I mean ever since I’ve started using it I just cannot go back to the old one that just looks outdated now the design has changed completely new Gmail UI is modern clean and it follows google material design guidelines which are awesome plus the new loading screen is way cooler along with the new look it has a ton of new features.

Gmail Smart Compose Feature

During Google, I/O 2018 Google announced its new feature A Smart compose feature for Gmail.
Now, this Smart compose feature is an AI-enabled innovation and the cool thing is it guess what you’re going to type before you type it.

instead of predicting words it predicts entire phrases for you which is pretty cool!
It basically uses some set of algorithms to make it possible. which makes google Gmail more intelligent.

Gmail Offline Feature

Google has finally rolled out a new native Gmail offline feature which you can use to save emails from the last seven days 30 days or 90 days.
You can even choose if you want to take attachments offline and if you want to store your emails offline even when you are logged out once if set things up all of your emails will be synced up and you’ll be able to access them by just going to the Gmail website even when you don’t have internet.

How to Turn on Gmail Offline Feature

1. On your computer, you need to make sure that you’ve downloaded Chrome. You can only use Gmail offline feature in a Chrome browser or if the browser you’re using is Chrome 61 or later.
2. Go to Gmail offline settings.
3. Check “Enable offline mail.”
4. Choose your settings, such as how many days of messages you want to sync.
5. Click Save changes.

That’s it, Now you have this Gmail offline feature enabled on your browser.

Keep in mind these features is still under early testing phase may be in future Smart Compose will be able to write out entire conversations.
